Stealth Tips
Installed
I finally installed the stealth tip option on
my car. These tips are more hidden than any other exhaust I have
seen for this car, they are even tucked up higher than the stock
tips. If you want your exhaust to be hidden, this is the way to
go..

Here you can see how the pipes hang, right up along the bumper
line.

I put the arrow here to point out that this side is lower, only
because I took the picture before I finished adjusting the pipes.
It is now the same as the other side.

Now, here's the problem. The stealth tips come with this small
section of pipe that is not pre-welded (this section is on the
rear exit, but is welded in place), because of this, another
clamp is necessary. On the standard rear exit, you would just
have the clamp shown with the arrow on the far right and the
arrow in the middle. Now, in the rear exit and the stealth I
would recommend getting the system welded by someone who can weld
stainless. As you can see in the following pictures, these clamps
are visible from the side, and sometimes from the rear (granted,
I could have turned them completely upside down, but you would
still see them. And besides, my hands aren't that small to get up
in there and tighten those bolts).

Here's a shot from the side showing you what I mean.....

A low rear shot. Even from this angle it is difficult to see the
tips. you really have to stick your head up under the car to see
them.
